Flame spraying (FS)
Gas-flame spraying is heating, melting and transfer of molten particles by acetylene-oxygen flame to surface of metal part, where it forms stable continuous coating.
Purpose:
- parts seats restoration;
- geometry restoration of high-load parts working surfaces;
- corrosion protection coatings made of zinc, aluminum, stainless steel and their alloys;
- repair of babbit bearing layer;
- decorative coatingы by spraying brass, copper, bronze and other materials;
Advantages:
- equipment mobility, which makes it possible to apply a coating directly during the facility operation or without dismantling the equipment components;
- the equipment is simple to operate, does not require complicated maintenance and expensive maintenance;
- high process productivity and low operating costs, allowing coating to be applied to large objects and large areas;
- effective corrosion protection of metal structures, anticorrosive coatings obtained by electric arc metallization method have protector property;
- low cost of the obtained coatings.
