TSPC has considerable experience and technologies for restoring and strengthening surfaces with wear-resistant coatings of parts and assemblies of the cylinder-piston group: engine, pumps, cylinders, rods and bearings, etc., as well as propeller shafts. Methods of applying these coatings: high-speed gas-flame spraying, plasma spraying, laser surfacing.

1. Engine parts, pumps, compressors, cylinders, friction pairs.

About 90% of machine parts fail due to wear on working surfaces. Increased friction during operation leads to overheating and deformation of parts, causing their rapid wear. Application of antifriction coatings will increase the service life of machines and mechanisms several times.
The use of gas thermal coatings on parts of the cylinder-piston group (cylinders, pistons and piston rings) increases wear and corrosion resistance, anti-pressure properties.
Application of high-speed gas-flame spraying of hard alloy coating instead of galvanic chrome plating makes it possible to strengthen ball and gate valves, flanges, inserts and other elements of shutoff valves. The sprayed coating provides high erosion resistance and anti-adhesion properties.

2. Parts of gas turbine hot duct (nozzle blades, combustion chambers, flame tubes)

Application of thermal barrier ceramic coating TSZP by method of plasma spraying makes it possible to reduce temperature of walls heating, to increase life of parts, significantly to slow down oxidation, corrosion and erosion.

Thermal barrier coatings of TSPC provide:

  • protection against erosion wear;
  • reduction of costs and downtime of equipment during repair;
  • higher efficiency due to optimum surface shapes.

3. Restoration of babbit bearings (hoist, connecting rod)

The babbitt-based coating sprayed on the bearings by the gas-flame method has a porosity of the order of 5%, which makes it possible to impregnate the oil and retain the oil film in the event of an oil supply failure and a prolonged stop of the machine, as a result, the dry friction mode is excluded. The working life of the bearing sprayed with babbitt, on average, is 2 times greater than the bearing made by the filling method. Higher reliability of the part is ensured, since the occurrence of cavities during coating spraying is avoided.

4. Recovery and strengthening of propeller and propeller shaft.

Restoration of the surface of the propeller and its shaft is solved by laser surfacing of defects (cracks, breakages, erosions) with a strengthening coating. Strengthening by coating propellers with plasma spraying allows to reduce fuel consumption by 10-12%, to increase the speed of vessel movement by 5-7%.
